Günther Kehl studied Physics at University of Tübingen (Germany), ETH-Zürich (Switzerland) and Technical University of Munich (Germany) with an experimental thesis in the field of laser physics (generation of pico-second impulses) at Technical University of Munich. He further pursued a professional occupation in the field of process engineering (calculation of rectification processes).
From 1980, Günther Kehl has been partner in a Munich patent firm before founding patent law firm Günther Kehl in 1997, which was already located in our present premises and from which Kehl & Ettmayr emerged in 2004. His professional focus are patent application and opposition proceedings, enforcement and defence of all types of intellectual property rights (patents, utility models, trademarks and designs), negotiating solutions of conflicts, license agreements, and strategic consulting. He has gained technical expertise in the fields of, among others, IT and electrical engineering.
